Winfax Tools says 10.03 and under Help: 10.04 and ACT! is 6.0.3.979
AnonymousMemberYes, it sends successfully on a single; ACT! mail merges instantaneously on word processing. The 10.04 is from the original disc and which was used frequently before I
suspended your premium service for a couple of years.I have no clue what ‘for fax sharing only’ means.
This NOT an upgrade. So what is the problem and what is the ‘fix’ from your downloads.
Thanks,

WinFax startup w/Windows 2000?AnonymousMemberThanks for your interest. I spoke with the modem manufacturer. They’ve seen this problem to be due to something being corrupt?? Suggested reinstalling WinFax Pro software. This resolved the issue.
AnonymousMemberThanks for the tip. Also, i did search for a search feature before asking the question and couldn’t find it. Now I can see it plain as day and I feel foolish. Thanks again.

March 22, 2007 at 6:53 pm in reply to: problem forwarding by email – winfax stopped forwarding the faxes #8285AnonymousMembershut down WinFax and Controller,
find and rename the file in your WinFax data directory called “wfxrules.dat” and rename to “wfxrules.old”
then restart WinFax
go back into the forwarding rules and recreate the forwarding rule (it will no longer be configured)AnonymousMemberassuming you’ve backed up your data, i would suggest you reinstall WinFax PRO overtop your existing installation. See this message if you get any error message about uninstalling first:
http://www.getfaxing.com/cgi-bin/ib315/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=17;t=45Then, once it has been installed you can completely uninstall using the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Then, reinstall again. Also note that you can only install the 10.04 patch overtop a 10.03 installation, do not install 10.04 patch overtop any version other than 10.03 (see Help, About to display the version information of WinFax PRO)

what class settings? 1,2? maybe try class 2 or 2.0 if your modem supports it.AnonymousMemberif WinFax is set to use TAPI communications port, the modem can still be used by other applications. You may see this message if another application is accessing the modem port.
AnonymousMemberThis solution to this issue is posted in the Pinned topic section.
March 22, 2007 at 3:47 pm in reply to: Macro Word 97 immediate sending – Why does this happen? #8105AnonymousMembercould be differences in the versions of the macros you are using in Word 97, or different versions of WinFax PRO.
AnonymousMemberCleaned off WinFax 10.03 again for the umpteenth time. Installed 10.02 and strangely it works.
AnonymousMemberTried both, neither worked.
