It’s an serial (analog) modem attached to COM1, serial port is added to the virtual machine.

And it is not happening al the time!

    It happened twice, for now.

As I said earlier there is an extra hd with only Windows XP Home, for testing purposes.

But what is the problem of running Winfax inside a Virtual Machine (XP).

Winfax crashed again after receiving a fax, but I can’t reproduce the steps.

I also have an extra harddisk with only Windows XP Home, in the Win2K8 machine.

I will try if I can find a way to reproduce it to see if it caused by running inside a Virtual Machine.

Yes, the host is running in a virtual machine.

It happend only one time, the crash!

I only have 1 server that’s always on!

It to expansive to have ans second computer online 24 hours a day, electricity and XP license and the hardware!

I will soon have an HP 6500 All in one inktjet printer, wich can also fax. Only not sure if I can send to it from a pc (fax)!?

When I get a fax from the internet with a dutch number it works fine, now errors.

    Junk Fax is disabled!

Only when receving a fax from you from the States, something goes very wrong.

One out of two times it failed the first time.

    Maybe a bad line!

It’s now running under Win2K8 with VMware Player, with serial port emulation and as Guest Win XP PRO.

The first time I send an fax to you, it failed, but the second time, it worked fine.

Now going to send multiple pages to a Dutch number.

Is 10.04 not required, or bether to use 10.03 as host?
