I had an issue when I first got 10.0 and then got XP on my new computer about 6 years ago. There were some problems with XP and WinFax and I got the upgrade from WinFax and everything works except it won’t fax as a single click from the icon in Word, Excel or other products there should be a fax icon in. I used to be able to do it in Win98 with WinFax 9. I haven’t been able to do it for years and it’s always extra clicking and finding the WinFax default printer and I am plump tired of it! No icon appears in any Microsoft product that should have one. Any other application, I can understand it, but I used to be able to fax straight from Word and Excel. ???
Thanks,
BrianAugust 20, 2007 at 8:14 pm #7878AdministratorKeymasterWe’ve created fax add-on for Word 2000/XP/2003
that is fully compatible with WinFax PRO 10.03 and includes fax merge capability. One click faxing, changes the printer driver (photo quality or standard) automatically. Also can use styles to pick up fax numbers directly from your Word document, and populate the send dialog without having to enter a fax number.for more details, and free trial download-see http://www.getfaxing.com/products.htm
