FaxTalk Software Return Policy

GetFaxing.com is an authorized re-seller of FaxTalk software products from Thought Communications. If you purchased FaxTalk software directly from GetFaxing.com and have any issue with the software, please contact us first via our contact us page.

We strongly recommend that you try the free trial version of the FaxTalk products before making a purchase in order to ensure that the FaxTalk software meets your needs and expectations. Purchases that are made outside the GetFaxing.com Web site, or within the trial software links do not qualify for complementary technical support or returns and you must contact your original point of purchase.

GetFaxing.com offers a 30-day return policy on the following FaxTalk software products when purchased directly from GetFaxing.com Web site.

  • FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro
  • FaxTalk Multiline Server
  • FaxTalk Messenger Pro

The following products are not returnable and are not included in our 30-day return guarantee:

  • Not for Resale (NFR) software.
  • Extended Download Service.
  • FaxTalk OEM software.
  • FaxTalk software not purchased directly from GetFaxing.com.

How to return FaxTalk software

The following applies to FaxTalk software. For other software products, or hardware related items please see the next section.

If you wish to return the FaxTalk software purchased directly from GetFaxing.com you need to request a refund within 30 days of the purchase. After 30 days, requests for refunds will not be honored. All returns must be authorized by Thought Communications (FaxTalk) and GetFaxing.com. Refunds will not be made on unauthorized returns. Products not purchased directly from GetFaxing.com must be returned to the place of purchase and are subject to the return policies of the place of purchase. If physical product was shipped to you by shipping carrier, shipping and handling charges for shipped products will not be refunded.

To request a refund, please follow the instructions below for the type of product ordered (Electronic Download Service (ESD) or Physical Shipment).

Electronic Software Delivery (ESD)

To obtain a refund on a FaxTalk product that was delivered to you by Electronic Download Service (ESD) online download, you must follow the steps below:

Request a refund for your FaxTalk software from GetFaxing.com within 30 days of purchase by e-mailing us via Contact us page.

You will be sent a Letter of Destruction (LOD) form by email that must be filled out, signed, and returned to Thought Communications and a copy submitted to GetFaxing.com. Submit your online completed LOD form within 30 days of purchase. Thought Communications is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail, delays for downloading, or other communication system delays.

Remove the FaxTalk software from your computer (if still installed) and destroy any backup copies of the FaxTalk software as detailed in the LOD.

Return the completed, and signed, LOD to the FaxTalk Sales department by fax at 408-782-7903, letter mail, or email. Send a copy of the LOD to GetFaxing.com by fax 707-440-2708 or e-mail.

Once the LOD is received, and all of the requested information has been provided, your refund request will be processed. Approved requests will receive a credit within 5 to 7 business days. Due to billing cycles, the refund may not appear on the same credit card statement as the original charge.

Physical Shipment

To obtain a refund on a FaxTalk product that was shipped physically by a common shipping carrier, you must follow the steps below:

You will be given instructions for returning the FaxTalk software.

Return the FaxTalk software product to the address given to you by GetFaxing.com. Returned products must be complete of ALL components (CD, manuals, software carton, etc.) that comprised the original shipment.

No credit will be issued for incomplete returns. Thought Communications suggests that you return the package with a shipping carrier that has a reliable tracking system as Thought Communications will not make a refund until it receives the package. Thought Communications is not responsible for lost or misdirected returns. Returns in the United States must be received by Thought Communications within 30 days of purchase.

Once the returned product has been received, and all of the requested information has been provided, your refund request will be processed less shipping and handling charges, which will not be refunded. Approved requests will receive a credit within 5 to 7 business days. Due to billing cycles, the refund may not appear on the same credit card statement as the original charge.
