    Hi folks:

    My client is using windows XP SP2, with Winfax 10.0 – everything works fine with fax sharing etc. with no problems – HOWEVER – they are having trouble receiving faxes from some clients – i.e cannot receive at all, or they get simply black lines at the top of page (as if the fax has been compressed to one line).

    We are using a Robotics 33,600 External sportster fax modem.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I recommend setting WinFax PRO 10 to use Class 2.0 for the Sportster Fax Modem. See Modems and Communications setup in WinFax PRO.
