Hello,

curious, if anybody saw the effect in winfax 10.02 and .04 when click on a field related to phone numbers causes general protection fault. I see this happening consistently when I try to “modify delivery” of an outgoing fax – click on the phone number field makes winfax window to quietly disappear; also, with winfax dialing, in program setup / dialing and location / location, click on the field “the phone number is” causes crash of the window. I think this is caused by windows xp service pack 3, since I never saw this before, and here it survived clean reinstallation of winfax; just wanted to find out if others saw this as well. If someone has xp sp3 and winfax, maybe you could try these operations and post the result.

This problem exists in all versions of WinFax PRO 10 and TalkWorks PRO 3.0 under Windows XP. The problem started to appear with the release of IE 7.0 . A fix is available in WinFax Tools
