I am using Trend Model TFM 560X modem and running Xp Pro with SP2 on a Pentium 4 Dual Core CPU. I can fax out w/o any problem. On incoming the modem trains and answers but it then cancels. I get the message “Call Canceled” after. This occurs whether I receive manually or automaticly.

Line 1 : AT&F&C1&D2S7=90
Line 2 : AT&K4Uncheck “Use hardware flow control”
or try
Line 1: AT&F&C1&D2S7=90
Line 2 : ATQ1Uncheck “Use hardware flow control”
if you are receiving faxes that are failing from the same person, try a different fax machine. It is possible the fax machine that is sending to you is incompatible with your fax modem. In that case, install and use a different fax modem.
