If you cannot start WinFax Tools, you may be missing some VB components to initialize the program.

If you cannot start WinFax Tools, you’ll need the VB Runtime 6.0 Distribution Pack download here:

If you cannot start specific features, like Setup & Install, and get an error message relating to common controls such as mscomctl.ocx or comctl32.ocx then download the VB 6.0 Common Controls update here:

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT INSTALL the common controls, it only updates if you are using an old version of them.

If you have problems using the Check for Updates option – Hangs, or freezes displaying the Update dialog screen then
download WinFax Tools here: http://www.getfaxing.com/services.htm#forums
and click Check For Updates. Enter your User Name & Password to update the software.
