I use one computer to receive our incoming faxes, and the other to go to to the Winfax/Data subdir of the first computer to see the faxes in .FXR format.
But I do not understand the numbering system used.
The last four digits signify page number, but how do we understand what the first 4 digits mean?
The first four numbers are generated based on the current time and date, it uses an algorithm to generate a unique code, so it never duplicates the same filename again.
XXXXX999.FX? is the format
so you can’t really know what the first 5 numbers will be…
