is there a list of hardware that i can use that have support with winfax?

Symantec no longer provides a list of supported modems for WinFax PRO 10.0.

WinFax is compatible with a wide variety of external, internal, PC card (PCMCIA), and cellular modems.

I recommend the following hardware, in the following order:

class 1 or 2/2.0 external modems (serial)
class 1 or 2/2.0 internal modems (hardware based)
class 1 or 2/2.0 internal modems (software based)

i was looking at http://www.capi.org/pages/home.php
and thinking of using fax boards. There is CAPI 2.0 ISDN board
in the connection device settings. So far i’m only using a class 1 modem and i’m thinking what are the difference between isdn, class 1 and class 2 modems. The speed and roughly price difference and what fax boards can i use

isdn modems require a ISDN phone line connection, so unless you already have one you cannot use a ISDN fax modem. Here are a list of compatible ISDN fax modems for use with WinFax
