I have a PC that is continually getting incoming messages into the recieve log stating “Product Update for WinfaxPRO 10.0” It gets a new message every 30 minutes. 🙁
It says they are from Symantec. I have automatic recieve disabled and Junk Senders enabled, but they still come through.
Any ideas on how I can stop these from continually coming through?

This is not a received fax, it is a downloaded message that is coming from Symantec’s LiveUpdate servers. It does not get delivered via the fax line
If you’re getting this message every 30 minutes, you’ve set Symantec LiveUpdate to update every 30 minutes. I’d suggest contacting Symantec and asking them why LiveUpdate is failing, or turn off automatic updating, or remove (uninstall) LiveUpdate if you don’t use it for any other Symantec product.
You can also make sure you have the latest version of LiveUpdate installed by running the tools mentioned at Symantec’s Web site
