It looks to me like I need to completely write my own interface if I want to use the SDK to programatically set values. But I like the existing interface, I just want to set up some default values since users will have already entered the data within my program. Surely others have wanted to do the same.

Is there a way? I am free to either use the WinFax printer driver or directly call WinFax.SDKSend (or another component). I would slightly prefer not using the printer driver, since it seems a little harder to program.

No, you don’t have to use a new interface. You can set the values and have WinFax display the Send dialog box with all the values (fax name, number, document) already ready to go. The user would then have to simply click “Send” from the WinFax send dialog box to start the fax process.

It is your choice to use the printer driver or not, if you don’t use the printer driver you are limited of what you can transmit via WinFax.
