We are using Windows FAX API’s for faxing Word documents from our application. The application locates the Word documents in a folder specified and send fax from background. The problem we are facing with the API is that it is opening up an instance of Word while faxing, and it is quite disturbing to the user and defeat the purpose of background faxing. Can anybody suggest a best tool for me?

If I use WinFax (we have clients running Win 98/Me/NT/2K/XP),

1. Can i fax Word documents from background (even if we can hide the Word instance, it will help).
2. Can I use WinFax if my client application is a Windows service?
