What about the a fact that I cannot get winfax to startup without going to the .exe file? And then when it is started it will not go into auto receive mode?

I know that you are trying to help and I apprceiate your help. But I seem to be ansering the same questions over and over. I have installed my version 10 winfax pro. First I had a problem entering the info into the Phone, fax, location name, etc. I downloaded some fix from a link you gave me this solved the problem. Then it would finish installing we thought. Then I got a spooling error. Now the program will not auto start and it will also not go into auto receive. The only way that i can start the program is to go to the .exe file and run to start the program and it will not go into auto receive. At this point it also covers up all of my printers so that none of my other printers are showing that they are installed. The only way to get my printers back was to Un-install winfax. What do I do to install this on to the same OS that I have previously run this program on to and have it perform as it is suppose to?

I cannot spend much more time without my fax machine.
February 10, 2008 at 12:47 pm in reply to: winfax pro installation/ setup – install and setup problems #5250fpecoMemberI installed the new update. Now the program does not start when you pin it to the startup, it does not start up when you select it from the start menu. It only starts when you go into the program files and select wntsetup.
From there you can finish the setup. After that it will not auto receive, it comes up with the following messages:
Cannot open compressed file Insprint.LSZ and Error loading CopyUniDRV (Could not be found).Any additional suggestions?
February 9, 2008 at 1:39 pm in reply to: winfax pro installation/ setup – install and setup problems #5248fpecoMemberI have run wtnsetup and everything goes good until we get to live update. At live update everything stops responding.
Do you have any suggestions on how to get past this point?
February 4, 2008 at 2:03 pm in reply to: winfax pro installation/ setup – install and setup problems #5246fpecoMemberThanks, the Winfax tool kit worked to solve the problem of not being able to enter information. Now, I set up the program to turn on when the computer starts up and it does not. I tried to start it manually and both time i get message saying something is spooling and it won;t stop. something to do with NT. Not running NT.
Any suggestions?

I disabled all running programs except for the OS in the msconfig. same problem.Do you have any specific suggestions? I get to the point where I need to add data. it does not matter if I skip it on the install or whether I try to do it on install. i can skip on install and try to do it in setup properties after install and it still won’t let me enter data for profile, like phone, fax, area code
