FaxTalk fax modem initialization error messages and troubleshooting.

Modem initialization errors are usually are the result of a problem with communicating with the fax modem. If this is a temporary problem, the solution is to reboot the computer (a full power down cycle is recommended). If the fax modem is not properly configured, or the settings in FaxTalk are incorrect you will see a modem initialization error message.  We recommend confirming that the fax modem is properly detected in Windows (by performing a Modem Query from Control Pane, Phone & Modem, Diagnostics Tab) before troubleshooting a fax modem problem with FaxTalk.
